Where Have I Been?
Where Have I Been?
To say November was busy for me is an understatement. Between Fall Festival, Kairos Prison Ministry, Thanskgiving, preaching, pastoring, and family, time became a precious commodity in November. And December looks even more hectic with all the Christmas parties and activities etc. I try to post some thoughts at least once a month, but priorities first. And blogging is low on the priority scale. But I say all that for this reason. As the Christmas season becomes a busy time for us all, let's not get caught up in the hustle and bustle and lose Jesus in it all. Let's not get caught up in the commercialism and lose the true meaning of Christmas: God became a man to die for our sins, and raise again on the third day so that we could forever be in relationship with Him! As Christmas approaches, let's all slow down and remember, Christ is the reason for the season. Or to be more theologically correct, you and I are the reason for the season, because it was for you and I that Christ came in the first place! And that should make us sing praises to God from the depths of our heart! Christ gave His all for us, so this Christmas, let's be sure that we are in that giving spirit. Merry Christmas to all and Happy New Year!
