Live For Him!
Sargent Baptist, God continues to smile upon us. He truly blessed us in the month of April. We began the month with one of our largest mission trips ever. It warmed my heart to see so many serving the Lord that week. Then what a glorious day it was on Resurrection Morning! What a huge turn out for “Son Rise” service, and what a glorious day we had. Then the Wednesday night before the Car Show and Revival, we had enough people to go out and prayer walk the villages on both sides of Highway 16. We handed out flyers, talked and prayed with many people. The Car Show turned out to be the largest we’ve had thus far. And how great it was to share our testimonies with so many folks. And what can we say about Revival? God’s Word went out and did not return void. And that led right into Overflow for our youth. What a blessing to see so many youth worshiping our Savior and the great message we heard. We finished the month with “The Ties That Bind” and how they blessed our heart in song.
All of this happened because God blessed our efforts. It happened because of your commitment and dedication. It happened because we sought God in prayer and then He enabled us and gave us the abilities and opportunities to do His work. And there’s much more ministry for May. The May calendar is filling up. How will all these ministries succeed? The same way they did last month. Through much prayer, dedication and commitment. Paul said, “…It is required in stewards that one be found faithful.” 1 Cor.4:2. Have you been faithful to God in what He’s called you to do? Will He find you faithful in the month of May? Your commitment and faithfulness is a choice. Will you choose to be sold out for Jesus in the days ahead? Will you give your all for him? Paul said that Christ “…died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.” 2 Cor.5:15. What Paul is saying in our vernacular is, “He died for me, so now I’m going to live for Him!” What about you? Will you sell out for Jesus? You’ll be eternally glad you did!
In Christ,
Bro. Royce
